How to Properly Install Suspending Blow-Dryers

Suspending blow-dryers can make your salon look much more modern while saving a great space, however, it’s not always easy to install these devices in the right way. Check out this article and find out how you can do it!
First of all, you should determine the installation type. There can be different types, such as drop ceiling/suspended tile ceiling, above-the-ceiling installation kit, rough-in installation kit, suspended installation kit, or light platforms.
Then you should find out the ceiling height. The resting height of the dryer should be one to four inches above the stylist’s head for the best convenience. The tension is already preset by the manufacturer so the dryer floats down slowly when the brake is not used.

Choose the right position. Start with the type of your device. For a free-floating dryer support device like the Freestylist, you should install it directly over the client’s head according to the distance between the chair and the mirror; 42-inches to 56-inches is typical.
