We know that curly hair might look very edgy and make its owner appear visually younger, however, such hair looks super nice only if it’s neat. Ladies who have such hair type know that curly haircare can become a problem when it comes to hair washing. What are the rules of curly hair washing? Check them out in this article!
1. Carefully wash your hair, use special shampoo for curly hair. Shampoo and conditioner for wavy or curly hair is not a trick or a marketing gag. The structure of curls is very different from the structure of straight hair (each tiny curly hair has the elongated structure, just like an oval in cross-section), they are usually thinner and more brittle.
2. We recommend letting your curly hair dry on its own even if it will take more time. Wrap a towel around your head and lightly dry your hair with it to absorb moisture after washing. Don’t rub your hair with a towel and never brush your hair when wet.
3. Use styling cream. Apply some product on your wet hair before brushing it. Buy a leave-in styling cream for hair fixation. For curly hair, leave-in products can generally become an alternative to traditional styling products: they don’t make curls heavier, but smooth and shape them.
