Steps to Frizz-Free Hair
- Start in the Shower
Switch to a hydrating, repairing shampoo while taking your shower, to make your hair more humidity-resistant. Let your body condition the scalp and stimulate hair follicles in a natural way
- Choose Tools Carefully
They come in all shapes and stripes. For straight locks, boar-bristle brushes will distribute the essential oils more efficiently. Before washing, detangle your hair carefully with a brush, thus improving blood circulation.. Go with a large-tooth detangle comb after conditioner if you have curly hair.
- Use Anti-Frizz at All Times
Do not forget to use anti-frizz solution all through your hair while it is still damp, before drying (no matter what drying method you prefer).
If you use a blow-dryer, apply a heat-protectant spray first. Start from roots to tips and dry about 70%. Flip head up and run a medium-size brush through 2-inch layers, gathering at the crown of your head. Prevent hair strands from sticking by focusing the dryer's nozzle on the ends.
If you have wavy hair, part it into five segments, starting from the back of your head. Combine a lightweight lotion and styling cream to each segment and diffuse until almost dry. Finish with a finishing spray and leave it there—messing with your hair will result in fuzz.
In case of air-drying, a leave-in conditioner will make your hair more obedient.
