What Causes Hair Static?

Hair static is one of the main problems that shows itself especially in autumn and winter. Unfortunately, almost all ladies in the world are familiar with such a hair issue. We know how to deal with this problem, so today we will tell you how to get rid of this problem once and for all, keep on reading!
Before talking about ways to fight hair static, it’s worth saying a few words about what makes hair electrify. Excessive hair dryness, lack of vitamins, cold wind, and frost are among the main reasons for hair static. Besides, a headdress plays an important role: if you wear a hat, then thin hairs rub against each other. Rubbing causes static electricity. Knowing the reasons for it, you can find a solution to this problem. So what should you do if your hair gets electrified?
1. Change your shampoo and conditioner
If your hair is highly electrified, it‘s important to change your hair care and switch to moisturizing and nourishing products with oils created for dry and damaged hair: they will protect your hair from drying out and reduce hair static. We recommend using keratin shampoo and conditioner.
2. Dry your hair correctly and don’t forget about heat protection
Frequent use of a hairdryer (especially at high temperatures) dries out the hair from the inside. Therefore, we recommend you make sure that you use a leave-in thermal spray that should be applied to wet hair before drying. This way you can avoid the appearance of heat-damaged hair.
3. Use oils
Few people know that oils have an antistatic effect. To prevent hair from electrifying, add a few drops of rose or lavender oil into a bottle with water. This is also a nice treatment against the appearance of the dead hair ends.
